Ministry Description: Jeff compassionately listens, helping you to connect with your inner life and to discover where your “deep gladness meets the worlds’ deep need.”
Having been personally enriched by offering spiritual care in a multi-spiritual context and by his own faith background, Jeff listens and responds compassionately to a wide range of spiritual and life experiences. Whether you find meaning in Christian or other expressions, Jeff will meet you where you are on your journey. Particular interests include interfaith and interspiritual direction, mindfulness meditation and spiritual practices, creativity as spiritual practice, dream work, and exploring connections between our spiritual lives and making a difference in the world. Background: Jeff is trained as a spiritual director through the Ontario Jubilee program and has been receiving direction since 1999. He works with university students through Student Open Circles since 1995 where he facilitates small group discussions and retreats and offers individual spiritual companioning to students from a diversity of faith and non-religious backgrounds. He is a past member of the Welcome Inn Mennonite Church and is currently experimenting with emerging models of church through his involvement with the Open Table faith community. Jeff enjoys creative writing, making music, do-it-yourself projects, and getting around Hamilton by bicycle. Jeff is available to meet in-person, by phone, or video.
